Leave the heavy lifting to us. From our warehouse to your door, most locations in Canada are eligible to receive The Brick`s Premium Truck Delivery service.
For most locations in Canada, we’ll deliver, put together, and place your purchase wherever you want it in your home.
We will uncrate and put into place all major appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, freezers, and dishwashers), install handles on refrigerators, and place washers and dryers on pedestals or stacking kit (if ordered). Drivers will also install new washer hoses and metal dryer hoses in major metropolitan markets. For insurance reasons, our delivery personnel are not able to hook-up plastic dryer hoses, gas lines, or electrical wiring. Smaller appliances will be left in their original packaging, but placed in the room of your choice. Please contact your local Brick store to confirm what installation services are available in your area.
Televisions larger than 27" will be removed from their packaging and placed in the room of your choice. All other home theatre audio, video, and satellite components, including televisions smaller than 27", will be left in their original packaging in the room of your choice. Currently The Brick cannot remove electronics. However, you may take your old electronics to any of our distribution centres (excluding Manitoba) for recycling. Our stores and delivery staff cannot accept or recycle used electronics.
We will remove packaging from your new mattress and boxspring, assemble your mattress frame (if purchased), and place both your mattress and boxspring on the frame. Our delivery team will also remove your old mattress and boxspring for a small disposal fee. Health and safety regulations require that your old mattress or boxspring be wrapped in a plastic bag for removal. Plastic bags are available from any of our Brick locations. Use your Brick Card Platinum to purchase your first sleep set, and we’ll deliver it for free!
Upholstery items will be placed in the room of your choice and all packaging will be removed. The legs, backs, and recliner handles will be installed, and the recliners will be unlocked. Large, preassembled bedroom and dining room items will be put into place and the packaging will be removed. Bases will be attached to tables, mirrors attached to dressers, headboard and footboards attached to bed frames (purchased or existing), and hutches will be placed on buffets. Hardware including handles and shelves will be left in their packaging and not installed or attached.
Ready To Assemble
All items marked as READY TO ASSEMBLE will be left in their original packaging in the room of your choice. Due to the nature of “ready to assemble” products, assembly of these items is not included as part of The Brick’s Delivery Service. When you purchase a new appliance at The Brick, you no longer need to worry about getting rid of your existing one on your own. We’ll remove and recycle your old appliance on a one-for-one basis for free, saving you the cost and time of doing it yourself.
This complementary service is available in most major metropolitan areas. If you live in a rural or remote area, or are unsure if free appliance removal and recycling applies to you, please call 1-877-843-2742 before placing your order.
Please note that our delivery personnel are not licensed to disconnect gas, plumbing or electrical from your appliances. Please ensure your old appliances are disconnected and empty prior to the delivery of your new ones. While our delivery team is not permitted to assist with this task, our installation and assembly personnel can provide you with this service at a competitive rate. Payment in full is required a minimum of 48 hours prior to the confirmed delivery date. A customer service representative will contact you 2-3 days before your scheduled pick-up or delivery date to confirm your address, the merchandise you purchased, and if the proposed date is still convenient for you. Orders that cannot be confirmed will be rescheduled.
Prior to your delivery, you will be contacted and provided a 3-hour time window for when the delivery team will arrive on the scheduled delivery day. In rural markets, the time window may be extended due to driving distances as well as highway and weather conditions.
Please have a responsible person in your home at the time of delivery. For your protection, your purchase will only be delivered if your residence is attended.
Please ensure your driveways, entrances, and hallways are clear and free from ice, snow, bikes, toys, or other hazards and obstacles. Pre-measure your doorways, entrances, hallways, and staircases to ensure your new product will fit. In rare situations where the product may be a tight fit, you have the option of approving our attempt for delivery by releasing us from liability for damage to your property (a signed release is required), or by returning to a Brick store to make an alternate selection.
Our delivery personnel are not licensed to connect or disconnect gas, plumbing, or electrical to or from your appliances. Please arrange to have these items disconnected, if required, before delivery.
Due to health and safety regulations, our delivery personnel are required to wear safety footwear at all times. However, we will take precautions to protect your flooring.
