The value of your warranty purchase may be redeemed at any Brick Group store toward your next furniture or mattress purchase and/or related accessories within 90 days after the date your Full Circle Protection Plan expires. Redemption available only after expiration of warranty period that was claim free. Credit cannot be applied to previous purchases. Redemption offer has no cash value. The Brick provides you with comprehensive coverage on most defects in the construction of your furniture or mattress purchase resulting from normal daily use. This coverage includes items with moving parts, springs, stitching, zippers and buttons. Manufacturers' Warranties and The Brick 1 Year Furniture Repair Warranty
The Brick is pleased to honour manufacturers' warranties on our products, and in the cases
of some furniture manufacturers who do not offer a warranty, The Brick provides a 1 year repair
warranty on defects on your purchased furniture item.
To inquire, call the Store nearest you within the manufacturer's warranty period, The Brick's 1
year warranty period, or within The Brick's extended warranty period purchased and, if, after
inspection by a qualified Quality Control Technician, defective components or workmanship are
found in the construction of the item, the item will be repaired at no charge. If Brick
technicians do not service your area, we will have an authorized Service Technician in your
area inspect the toods or arrange to have them brought to one of the Brick stores for
inspection. Customers who have received their delivery via a contracted third party carrier
will be responsible for shipping costs back to the nearest Brick location.
If you receive damaged or defective product, please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the
item(s). For warranty to be in effect, products must have been used for its intended purpose
through normal use. Defects resulting from negligence, misuse, accidents, discolouration from
light or sunlight, abnormal wear and tear, fading or shrinkage of any fabric, or if used for
commercial purposes are not covered by warranty.
Home Furnishings
Fabrics are warranted for 1 year against seam failure and separation only unless specifically stated otherwise by the manufacturer. The Brick will investigate any fabric failures within the warranty period. Fading, pilling, shrinkage, discoloration from light or sunlight, and shading are characteristics of certain types of fabrics and are not considered defects. Vinyl is not covered under warranty against tearing or cracking.
Sleep Sets
Lifetime warranties to extend the manufacturer's warranty are available on sleep sets (excluding air beds) with a retail value of $999 or greater (provided that a warrantable bed frame is purchased). To receive a lifetime warranty, you must be the original owner and present your original bill of sale, and your new sleep set must be placed on either one of the warrantable metal bed frames available at The Brick or TheBrick.com (with the exception of the 850G and 910K), or on a bed frame which has a headboard and footboard that includes side rails with a lip and minimum of 3 cross slats and a centre supported leg. Warranties are not transferrable. All sleep sets must be in sanitary condition in order for any warranty to be honoured and, in some cases, the box spring and/or mattress may be required to be returned to a Brick location.
Electronics and Appliances
The Brick or an authorized dealer will repair defective item(s) within the manufacturer's
warranty and/or The Brick's extended warranty period purchased according to the manufacturer's
or The Brick's warranty. See the factory manual and instructions for warranty period that
accompanied your product for complete details. For any Brick or manufacturer's warranty to be
in effect, product must have been used for its intended purpose through normal use in the home.
Defects which result from negligence, misuse, accidents, or from products used for commercial
use are not covered under warranty. Due to manufacturer's requirements and return guidelines,
all products being returned for warranty purposes must include manuals, remote controls,
cables, and packaging in its original condition. If any one of these items are missing at the
time of return, or not in their original condition, you will be charged for the items as
follows:
Missing Manuals -- $20.00
Missing Cords/Cables -- $25.00
Missing or Unsuitable Packaging -- $25.00
Missing Remote Controls -- $75.00
Charges for missing items may be revised without notice.
As-Is Purchases
All As-Is purchases carry the same warranty as new merchandise with the exception of defects and/or damages on the item at the time or purchase.
