    About Us

    The Brick Warehouse LP opened its first store in Edmonton, Alberta in 1971 and now employs approximately 7000 staff and is comprised of over 200 store locations across Canada.

    The Brick Group is Canada's largest volume retailer of household furniture, mattresses, appliances, and home electronics and operates under four distinct banners:

    • The Brick
    • United Furniture Warehouse
    • Brick SuperStores (Greater Toronto Area only)
    • Brick Mattress Stores (Alberta & Ontario only)
    Our Corporate Office is located in Edmonton, Alberta with Distributions Centres located in Edmonton, Alberta, Calgary, Alberta, Burnaby, British Columbia, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mississauga, Ontario, and Montreal, Quebec.

    The Brick Group also operates several other banners which include:

    • Trans Global Warranty Corporation (TGW) - Provides warranty on our products.
    • Trans Global Insurance Company (TGI) - Our credit insurance division.
    • First Oceans - Our logistics and quality control division for all products purchased overseas.

    Distribution Centres and Logistics:
    Become part of a fast moving team that is responsible for ensuring our products get to our customers - safely and on time. In 2007, this productive group moved an incredible 5.1 million products from our Distributions Centres and into Canadian homes This team is critical to our success by ensuring our customers receive their deliveries as promised by controlling the storage and flow of merchandise. Key positions in this area are: Shipping and Receiving, Quality Control Inspectors, Customer Service, Delivery Drivers, Fleet Staff, and Order Assembly Associates.     Corporate Office:
    Help support and develop our business by creating and driving strategies that steer the future of The Brick Group.     Consumer Credit Contact Centre:
    Support our stores and our customers by granting credit and providing customer service for our private label Brick Card. This department is based in the Edmonton Corporate Office and requires both full and part time associates for Credit Analyst and Customer Service roles. Beginning your career in our Consumer Credit Centre can open up both supervisory and management opportunities.
